Cloudup Launches Instant Desktop Sharing Service for Windows and Mac
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) July 23, 2013 -- Following the successful launch of its browser-based sharing service, today, Cloudup is announcing free native applications for Windows and Mac users. Available immediately at http://www.cloudup.com, these new apps enable the streaming of any type of media directly from the desktop.
The Windows app - available for Windows XP, Vista, 7, and 8 – and the Mac app - available for 10.6 and above - enable users to drag and drop videos, photos, music, links and files, such as YouTube videos and Office documents, and share them instantly via a URL that is sent instantly, even before the file has completed its upload. The apps also automatically stream snapshots of a user’s screen and sync with newly added media in real-time.
“Cloudup’s mission is to make sharing as easy and frictionless as possible. We started with the browser and now we’re making native applications available to PC and Mac users… and there’s more to come!” said Cloudup co-founder Thianh Lu. “With this launch, we’re taking a step towards making sharing via real-time streams a universal experience.”
