New York, New York (PRWEB) July 25, 2013 -- Sparks fly at any given New York Lizards game, but on August 10,, 2013, starting at 7 p.m. sharp, there will be more than electricity filling the air, including an incredible Fireworks by Grucci display immediately after game time (9 p.m.).
Saturday, August 10th at Hofstra University’s Shuart Stadium, the New York Lizards will celebrate the last home game of the 2013 season with their fans by hosting “Heroes Night”, an evening designed to honor the tri-state area's first responders and veterans. Game time begins at 7 p.m., and the Lizards will take to the field darning specially designed uniforms, themed for the event. Immediately after the game, the celebration will continue with a special fireworks display by Fireworks by Grucci.
“We are excited to host this special evening for our fans and for our first responders,” said Andrew Murstein, president of Medallion Financial Corp. who leads the Lizards’ ownership group. “We owe everything to our fans, their continued support and enthusiasm is the driving force behind the team. Closing the season with a partner like Fireworks by Grucci makes the perfect ending to the 2013 schedule. By hosting Heroes Night, it’s our way of saying thank you to all the brave and hardworking men and women of our emergency services and military.”
