Live CakeFu Class with Icing Images®’ New Product Hits All-Time High Attendance
Winchester, VA (PRWEB) July 30, 2013 -- August 13th, cake enthusiasts can tune into a free cake decorating class with renown cake artist, Peggy Tucker, 10:30 PST at CakeFu.com featuring icing sheet ruffles and embossed icing sheets accented with brush embroidery – techniques rendered with Icing Images®’ Sweet Accents™ machine. This encore presentation by Peggy Tucker follows the successful July 16th live airing of the class, demonstrating the construction of edible cards using Icing Images’ Premium Icing Sheets™ and their new food-safe Sweet Accents™ cake decorating system. During the airing, three participants received prizes: a Sweet Accents machine was awarded to Aleta Schnitzer, $50 worth of free product went to Alisa Seidling, and Irene Moser received a $25 gift certificate. The recorded version of the show is now available at http://www.cakefu.com/masters-series/peggy-tucker-56/.
The Sweet Accents Cake Designer was developed by Spellbinder exclusively for Icing Images to accommodate the professional and home baker’s need for a food-safe product to cut and emboss icing sheets. Icing Images carries a full line of embossing folders and decorative die cutters for use with the Sweet Accents.
Past CakeFu trainings have been streamed from the instructor’s home. CakeFu, a website that is dedicated to teaching the art of cake decorating, frequently invites top cake decorators from around the world to share tips and techniques through a weekly webcast.
“This was the first live CakeFu training broadcast from a classroom setting and it was watched by more viewers than we have ever had. It’s great to see the excitement about this class setting and about the new Sweet Accents machine,” Amelia Carbine, cake artist and CakeFu co-founder.
Carbine stated she was "surprised" by the versatility of the premium icing sheets. She considers herself a "purist" and thought working with royal icing and fondant was the proper way to go.
“Icing Images has definitely hit the mark with their new food safe die cutting system,” Peggy Tucker. “One just has to love a great product that comes straight out of the box with such a small learning curve.”
Earlier this year, Icing Images released the Sweet Accents Cake Designer to meet the need for an easy-to-use cutting machine for the home market working with icing sheets. Icing Images also carries the Silhouette Cameo electronic cutting machine, commonly used by professional cake decorators to cut icing sheets and other edible mediums.
“I was so proud to represent Icing Images and honored to be invited by CakeFu to participate in this event. It was intriguing to show the class new product and seeing how the students used the sheets. They were so creative,” Deborah Coughlin, Icing Images owner.
Icing Images has been a leading distributor of edible image and edible paper art supplies for over a decade. Edible image supplies such as edible image printers, edible ink, icing sheets, and electronic and die cutters are used by cake and confection decorators throughout the world.
