Chat Sports Takes On ESPN with the Chat Sports Challenge
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) July 24, 2013 -- Chat Sports has kicked off the ‘Chat Sports Challenge’, giving sports fans the assignment of comparing its website and user experience to that of major sports news companies like ESPN. By engaging in the challenge, sports fans are given the opportunity to compare Chat Sports’ NFL team coverage directly to other sites’ team coverage and provide feedback via Facebook.
“It’s no secret that nearly every sports fan uses ESPN as their go-to sports website,” said James Yoder, CEO of Chat Sports. “With the Chat Sports Challenge, we are encouraging sports fans to consider which company provides a better experience for the NFL team they care about.”
How The Chat Sports Challenge Works:
The first Chat Sports Challenge takes ESPN head-on to see how sports fans compare Chat Sports to something as familiar as the “Worldwide Leader in Sports.” The challenge is simple: first, visit the challenge webpage; next, users can open a link to their favorite NFL team’s Chat Sports coverage and ESPN’s team coverage. After choosing which company provides the better news coverage, users can declare the winner by leaving a comment on the Challenge Facebook page or voting in the challenge poll.
“Sports media is ripe for a new, innovative experience that drives content targeted to each individual user,” Yoder said. “However many individuals are not aware that they have options beyond the worldwide leader, so we have launched the Chat Sports Challenge to let sports fans decide whether there is a better way to follow the latest news on their favorite NFL team.”
The Chat Sports Challenge Campaign:
The Chat Sports Challenge will be promoted through Chat Sports' website and its Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat accounts. The campaign seeks unbiased opinions from users of both websites on which company provides them with the better product and why. In the coming weeks, the company plans to ‘challenge’ additional national sports websites in an effort to bring attention to its innovative user experience.
