(PRWEB UK) 25 July 2013 -- Set to rival career website giants such as ‘Reed’ and ‘Monster’, the brand new UK based job board named ‘City Calling’ has been officially launched.
The website, designed and developed by Chris Curd Design, looks to capitalise on primarily the London and UK city job market with plans to expand to international cities in the near future.
City Calling has already attracted thousands of candidates and employers, who are keen to utilise the free job posting features that City Calling is currently offering.
Innovative website functionalities help set City Calling apart from its competitors. These features enable jobseekers to search for roles by smart filter systems which include 11 different personality types (i.e ‘organised’ ‘goal orientated’), as well as enabling jobseekers to search by location, salary, sector, and date posted within.
The job board showcases a ‘results-as-you-type’ search feature which jobseekers can utilise to filter through jobs live on screen as they type in the search box.
Paul David Munnelly, director of City Calling said: ‘The City Calling job board was born out of what we believed to be a gap in the market for a more intuitive job board which allows jobseekers to find jobs better suited to them in a fraction of the time. We are delighted to see our hard work over the last 18 months finally pay off. The feedback we’ve had from jobseekers since the launch has been incredible, and they’ve certainly been voting with their feet – as we’ve far exceeded our projections in terms of candidate sign ups, which, in turn, have attracted lots of high profile employers. These include Fulham Football Club, The Ritz, Direct Line, B&Q, and Canon.’
The website also houses a wealth of jobseeker and employer advice written by industry professionals as well as five inspirational authors named ‘The Employables’ – who represent the archetypal careerists in modern society.
You can expect to see a sprawling City Calling marketing campaign to hit your TV sets later in the year.
