Greenberg Traurig Shareholder David S. Panzer Covers Global Data Protection on Webcast Series

Panzer, a litigation shareholder with the international law firm Greenberg Traurig LLP, will speak on a panel at the upcoming webcast titled “Global Data Protection: Part 1 – The U.S., U.K. and Europe” Tuesday, July 30th at 11:00 a.m. ET hosted by Epiq Systems. Panzer will speak on a similar panel the next day, Wednesday, July 31st at 1:00 p.m. ET at the upcoming webcast titled “The Cross-Border Quandary: Facilitating e-Discovery While Protecting Data Privacy,” hosted by Robert Half Legal eDiscovery Services and the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists ®.
On July 30, Panzer will join other panelists to discuss regulations governing U.S., U.K. and Europe and best practices on handling cross-border data security, data transfers and global eDiscovery.
On July 31, Panzer continues the discussion with panelists about the elements of a successful cross-border e-discovery solution, including:
- establishing frameworks to facilitate data transfer;
- leveraging compliance to facilitate compliance with data privacy regulations;
- best practices for implementing a legal hold outside U.S. borders; and
- the admissibility of non-U.S. ESI.
Panzer is a member of Greenberg Traurig’s Litigation practice group with fifteen years of experience in a wide range of disputes, but with a keen interest in the nuances of the rules of civil procedure and evidence. As a member of the firm’s national eDiscovery and eRetention practice group, Panzer helps clients navigate their swift-moving eDiscovery obligations as the intersection of law and technology continues to move ahead.
