Off to the Races: Warrior Gateway to Honor the Military Community at the Brickyard 400
Indianapolis, IN (PRWEB) July 25, 2013 -- Warrior Gateway, in partnership with Grazie Media, is bringing veteran awareness to NASCAR’s Brickyard 400 this weekend. This summer marks the 4th anniversary since its founding in 2009 for the innovative national nonprofit. For the past 6 weeks, Warrior Gateway has celebrated serving veterans and families through participation at Indy 500, Clinton Global Initiative - America, Miss Texas Pageant and a Fourth of July inspired chalk mural on the Freedom of Speech Wall in Charlottesville, VA. NASCAR’s Brickyard 400 is the latest way Warrior Gateway plans to celebrate its 4th anniversary. Starting Friday for the entire Super Weekend at the Brickyard, Warrior Gateway’s public service announcement will play on Brickyard screens for the over 1.2 million people in attendance twice an hour for 12 hours each day.
“We’re excited to be a honoring our service members at the Brickyard 400 and we look forward engaging with the fans through our PSA “Home for Good” said Devin B. Holmes, Warrior Gateway’s Chief Executive Officer. “We are grateful that Grazie Media has presented us with this incredible opportunity to increase awareness of our work with the military family and veteran community.”
With nearly 500,000 veterans currently living in Indiana, Warrior Gateway helps answer the question “Where do I go for help” for both veterans and their families. There are thousands of organizations in the state serving the military community but it is often difficult for those in need to identify which services and resources best fit these needs. Warrior Gateway’s award winning technology solves that problem.
The broad engagement of audience members at this historic weekend event is not only a great way for Warrior Gateway to keep the celebration going but also an important event to kickoff their fifth year of serving the military community. NASCAR’s Brickyard 400 will connect the organization with veterans in Indiana while also leaving a lasting impression on audience members to share with friends and family in cities and states across the country.
