Cadre Technologies Announces Cadence WMS Universal Network Integration With SPS Commerce to Provide On-demand Services for 3rd Party Logistics and Distribution Companies
Denver, Colorado (PRWEB) July 30, 2013 -- Cadre Technologies Inc., a leading innovator of warehouse management software for the 3rd party logistics (3PL) and distribution markets, announced today that it has partnered with SPS Commerce, Inc. (Nasdaq: SPSC), a leading provider of enterprise cloud solutions for the retail industry.
The two companies will connect with a single Universal Network integration to expedite supply chain management services and retail compliance for a pilot customer, St. Louis based JS Logistics. The interface will become a standard integration module for Cadre’s Cadence warehouse management system and available for use by Cadence customers.
“The Universal Network integration provides our customers enterprise cloud services to the retail market through SPS Commerce,” explained Cadre’s CEO Joe Peters. “Many logistics companies now need cloud-based supply chain management as an on-demand service versus in-house software, hardware and staffing.”
SPS Commerce's cloud-based retail supply chain services perfect the trading relationships between retailers, suppliers, distributors and 3PLs. SPS empowers 3PLs to identify and connect with thousands of retail trading partners through pre-built integrations across more than 1,500 retailers, grocers and distributors. The solution offers 3PLs a more predictable and affordable way to offer EDI services to their customers.
"SPS Commerce looks forward to working with Cadre Technologies as a strategic WMS software partner for logistics providers and distribution organizations," said David Novak, Executive Vice President of Sales & Business Development at SPS Commerce. "Our combined solution will help 3PLs address the complexities of supply chain management by having a common interface and a single connection to a vast network of retailers, distributors and manufacturers.”
JS Logistics will utilize the SPS Commerce platform to execute EDI supply chain transactions for a new customer who ships product to a broad range of retail stores in North America. Starting business in St. Louis in 1983, the company has been a Cadence user since 2005.
“We are pleased to have a powerful cloud-based enterprise supply chain management solution, both to serve our immediate customer’s needs and also to help us grow our EDI business with new customers,” said David Patton, JS Logistics’ Chief Information Officer.
