Camarillo, CA (PRWEB) July 27, 2013

Camarillo residents and business people are in for a treat: Urbane Cafe, the popular chain of gourmet sandwich and salad restaurants, will open its 7th California location in Camarillo on Thursday, August 1, 2013.

The 1,600 square foot Camarillo restaurant will seat 30 guests with additional seating on the patio. It is located at 1855 E. Daily Drive (at Murray) in the Camarillo Plaza shopping center.

Known for its fresh fire-baked focaccia breads, hand-carved meats and hearty salads, Urbane Cafe is a consistent favorite on Yelp, Urbanspoon, TripAdvisor and other restaurant review websites. Popular with health-conscious, budget-conscious customers for over a decade, Urbane Cafe is a lunch and dinner destination for families and business people who want a fast, fresh, affordable meal.

"We’re thrilled about this location and this community," said Tom Holt, founder and owner of the Urbane Cafe. "We started right up the road in Ventura, my hometown, and have always wanted to open a restaurant for our friends and neighbors in Camarillo."

Holt noted that the Urbane Cafe is very selective in choosing new restaurant locales. "This is the perfect community for us," he said. "Camarillo’s residents are savvy and selective: they want a delicious, nutritious meal for a price that won’t empty their wallets. That’s what we offer. That’s why we’re here."

FIRST OF ITS KIND: The Camarillo location is also the first Urbane Cafe restaurant to open since the company underwent a comprehensive re-branding exercise intended to enhance every facet of their operations. Holt worked closely with ( iii ) DESIGN in San Luis Obispo and Penny Lane Interior Design in Ventura to improve the overall look and feel of the restaurant, improving everything from ingredients to décor to menus to uniforms to the company’s website.

"Each change we’ve made will make the customers' experience at our restaurants more pleasurable," Holt said. "We’ve always done things well, but the re-brand captures and promotes some of the good things we do that we weren’t really sharing with our customers. I think people who already know and like us are going to be even more pleased with what we’re offering here in Camarillo."

ABOUT URBANE CAFE
Founded in Ventura in 2003, Urbane Cafe is a family business dedicated to helping each community it serves. "As we’ve grown," Holt said, "we have continued to appreciate the importance of supporting the people who support us. We buy our ingredients and supplies locally when we can, supporting other family businesses whenever possible."

The lunch and dinner menu at each Urbane Cafe restaurant features fresh, healthy sandwiches and salads served in a warm, inviting setting. Though the restaurants span from Southern California to the Central Coast, owner Tom Holt retains a close, hands-on role in every aspect of the business, ensuring that standards of quality are consistent throughout the chain.

Urbane Cafes are making great gourmet sandwiches and salads for customers in the following California communities: Agoura Hills, Oxnard, San Diego, San Luis Obispo, Valencia and Ventura. Urbane Cafe can also be found on Facebook and twitter.
