Direct Marketer’s Revenue Shows Sharp Increase and No Signs of Slowing Down

Eden Prairie, MN (PRWEB) July 29, 2013 -- Still a youngster in industry terms but with a deeply experienced and talented staff, this rising direct-marketing company is reporting a surge across a wide array of business measures.

The latest numbers tell the story of what SeQuel Response, LLC, of the Twin Cities has accomplished in less than four years for its own bottom line and for its diverse roster of clients.

Most notably, the performance-based full-service provider of direct marketing strategy grew its revenue by 64 percent in 2012 vs. the previous year. SeQuel Response’s trend of significant year-over-year revenue growth is showing no signs of letting up, either. Year-to-date revenue is up 35 percent so far in 2013.

“We are meeting our clients’ campaign objectives or beating their control packages better than 80 percent of the time,” said Tom Rothstein, SeQuel’s president who has logged more than a quarter-century in direct marketing. “We are putting a lot of effort and strategy behind it and our business is reflecting it in the growth.”

Two other vital measurements of SeQuel’s growth are attracting new business – nearly doubling its client base this year – and nurturing its ongoing client relationships.

“Our current clients are continuing to throw more and more work at us because their direct mail is performing for them,” Rothstein said, noting that SeQuel’s top two clients have been so satisfied with their results that they have more than tripled their direct marketing budgets since 2011.

As SeQuel increases in size, the company is investing in its own future in several ways: doubling its number of full-time employees in the past year, expanding its sales, marketing, data and creative departments, and renovating its headquarters with three times the space.

“People sense that we have fun together as a staff,” said Jay Carroll, SeQuel’s chief marketing officer. “Our employees are passionate about what they do, and they genuinely want to see client success. They take great pride in knowing they made a difference in the end result.”

Rothstein said that SeQuel’s staff is rich in experience. “We have people who have been in this industry on average 20+ years,” he said. “We put all of these people together and align them with the appropriate clients/markets in order to achieve optimal outcomes.”

Carroll added, “We’re excited about how far we’ve come in such a short period of time, but we also believe we’ve only just begun. We’ve navigated some complex challenges for our clients and we’ve learned a lot through those experiences. That wisdom only makes us better for the next campaign…or our next new client.”
