On May 20, a man filed a lawsuit in Missouri Eastern District Court (case no. 4:2013cv00957) alleging that he suffered permanent injuries from his Zimmer NexGen Knee implant. In the lawsuit, the plaintiff claims that he was implanted with the Zimmer NexGen Knee in 2009 and in 2011 a revision surgery was required to remove and replace the implant.
