Police have released the CCTV footage in a fresh appeal to capture the man who committed a silent bank robbery by handing the cashier a note which said '£5,000 NOW, SHHH OR I'LL SHOOT' before fleeing the premises.
Detective Chief Inspector Ben Ewart, of Swinton CID, said: “While no weapons were seen, the offender has robbed a bank and in the process – through the medium of the written word – threatened to shoot staff if they did not comply.”
