Rosemary Conley and Dancing On Ice Professional Skater Mark Hanretty to Appear in Widnes As Part of a Tour to get The Nation Skating
Widnes (PRWEB UK) 30 July 2013 -- Skate into Shape aims to get the nation fit through skating and gives beginners and intermediates the chance to receive four hours of skating tuition along with a talk on healthy eating, followed by an opportunity to see Rosemary and Mark perform some of their skating routines on the ice.
Rosemary first skated with Mark on the 2012 series of ITV’s Dancing on Ice, when, at 65 years old, Rosemary was the oldest celebrity to make it the furthest in the history of the programme. “I discovered the great benefit ice skating has on your body shape, and it is a great way to tone up. It is possible to burn a whopping 838 calories in just 60 minutes, depending on the intensity of the skating session,” says Rosemary. “And, I have never known any form of exercise that tones up your legs and bum so fast!”
The Skate into Shape event will be held at Silver Blades Widnes on Wednesday 25th September. Tickets are limited and cost just £100 per person, which includes lunch, white boot skate hire and a signed Skate into Shape certificate.
