Savoury Systems International Unveiled New Non GMO Product and Salt Replacer at IFT 2013
Branchburg, NJ (PRWEB) July 31, 2013 -- Savoury Systems International (SSI), a leader in the savory flavor enhancement industry, introduced a new Tomato Salt Replacer and Non GMO Light Corn HVP at the 2013 Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) Expo to add to its already robust product line that includes a variety yeast extracts and organic products. The Tomato Salt Replacer #0882 was used in a traditional tomato basil sauce served on crostini and the Non GMO Light Corn HVP #0273 was used in a cumin and spice nut mix.
SSI’s Non GMO Light Corn HVP #0273 is a general savory flavoring derived from GMO-Free corn. It has a similar flavor to SSI’s popular #0243, but is Identity Preserved and great for poultry applications.
SSI’s Tomato Salt Replacer #0882 is based on yeast extract and has the ability to reduce sodium by one-third while maintaining the original desired flavor profile. #0882 enhances the savory profile by potentiating the qualities of the tomato as well as adding a unique savory profile of its own.
