San Diego, CA (PRWEB) July 29, 2013
Congratulations to Kerry L. Armstrong for being selected to the 2013 Top Attorneys by The Daily Transcript®. The Transcript conducts a peer review voting process in order to determine the best attorneys in the private, corporate, academic and government sectors in San Diego County in key categories such as: criminal defense, family law, immigration, corporate litigation, estate planning & probate, employment, real estate, personal injury and other key areas of practice. Those attorneys who practice in private, public, contracts or federal patent practice that are licensed to practice in the state of California and/or the federal patent branch are eligible for inclusion providing they are in good standing with the California State Bar and have not been subject to any disciplinary actions in the past.
While the practice area categories are expansive, they were created to reflect the primary practice areas in San Diego County. Each attorney is asked to nominate a lawyer that they have had personal experience with in a professional setting; the attorneys are not allowed to nominate themselves. Once the nominations are in, The Daily Transcript tabulates the responses and the top 25 nominated attorneys in each of the categories are considered semi-finalists. The semi-finalists are opened to a peer voting process, from there the top 10 ranked attorneys become the finalists. Once the finalists have been selected, The Daily Transcript publishes a special publication called Top Attorneys, and each finalist is profiled in print and online.
