Backpacks
REI’s technical Flash series pack line includes a new 58 liter, 62 (women’s specific), 45, 22, 18 and sport 15 liter available to complete most any outdoor endeavor. New styling gives this technical, agile pack line a sleek new look and provides backpackers with a comfortable, stable, and lightweight design. Additional details:
--The Flash 58 (women’s specific) and 62 is ideal for people who want a comfortable, lightweight pack for overnight backpacking adventures. Its Acivflex LT tubular aluminum frame design allows for range of motion and helps to transfer weight from the shoulders to the hips. Price $189.
--Designed for day hikes or short overnights, the Flash 45 is made with an Activflex LT frame for efficient load transfer to the hip belt. Price $129.

Lightweight Tents
REI announces its lightest weight, single-hubbed pole, two-person tent design yet. The Dash tent weighs 2 lbs., 7 ounces and offers 40” peak height, thanks to its sturdy tension truss architecture that adds strength, expands headroom and maximizes living space. The Dash also has two vestibules for easy access and covered storage. Price $349.
REI’s premiere backpacking Quarter Dome tent series has also been redesigned. Available in one, two and three-person designs, these sleek, three-season tents are sure to delight anyone seeking a weatherproof, well-ventilated, and lightweight tent. Lightweight Sleeping Bags
REI’s Flash series sleeping bags are lightweight, highly compressible and ideal for 30+ degree temperatures with waterproof-treated 700-fill-power duck down on top and PrimaLoft® Sport synthetic insulation on the bottom. A waterproof/breathable hood, side and footbox fabric offers added protection as it wraps the sleeping bag to protect it from tent-wall condensation. REI’s Igneo and Joule sleeping bags have received an update.
