HensonFuerst Attorney Awarded “Leader in the Law” in North Carolina
RALEIGH, N.C. (PRWEB) July 31, 2013 -- In partnership with Elon University School of Law, North Carolina Lawyers Weekly has named HensonFuerst Attorney David Henson a winner of North Carolina’s “Leaders in the Law” award.
Honorees are selected for going above and beyond in both their profession and their community. Honored attorneys are influential in the state’s legal community and stand out among their peers.
David Henson: Putting Clients First
David strives to provide his clients with the best legal service possible. He was recently named to the Board of Governors at the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, as well as to the Board at InterAct of Wake County. He was selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America© in 2012 and 2013, and received the Order of Service from North Carolina Advocates for Justice five consecutive years. He was also selected for inclusion in National Trial Lawyers Top 40 under 40 and has an Avvo rating of 10.0.
Beyond the Courtroom
David’s good will is not limited to his clientele, but extends deeply into his family and community. He served as chairman of the Down East Partnership for Children for two years, and he was a member of their board of directors for eight years. In 2012, he was chairman of the Harrison Family YMCA and continues to serve on their board of directors.

Each year, North Carolina Lawyers Weekly holds an event to recognize legal influencers in North Carolina. The Third Annual Leaders in the Law event is scheduled to take place Wednesday, September 18 at 11:30 a.m. One honoree will receive the Lawyer of the Year Award.
