The Tourism Authority of Thailand Promotes the Hua Hin & Cha-am Golf Festival
(PRWEB) July 31, 2013 -- The festival, which is a joint venture between TAT, a selection of participating golf courses, and Golf Course Executives Foundation, will be opened at the Royal Hua Hin Golf Course on 4th August. The Hua Hin and Cha-am golf area, which is located on the western side of the Gulf of Thailand, is considered by many to be Thailand’s golfing capital. Golfing enthusiasts will find it easy to see why when they discover the number of world-class golf courses that can be found in the region. Indeed, there are a total of nine participating golf courses in the festival this year, each one charging a special green fee of just 999 Baht per person.
There is an additional incentive for participating in the festival this year. All players taking part will be eligible to enter a free prize draw, with the chance of winning the special prize of a new Honda Brio Amaze car. TAT is keen to ensure the festival attracts as many participants as possible as golf is one of the niche markets in its strategic marketing plan. It is hoped that the festival will attract tourism in the Phetchaburi and Prachuap Khiri Khan provinces during Thailand’s green season.
It’s not only the Hua Hin and Cha-am area that has a good selection of golf courses.
