Millerbernd Lighting proudly announces the launch of its new version of the WL-18 Stainless Steel Wall Sconce—now both ETL and CFL listed for LED. This recent listing update provides a robust choice of light sources which can now be considered for nearly any type of lighting projects.
"Along with the recent approval by Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, we now have the Wall Sconce listed by ETL for LED Light Source," said Brad Millerbernd, CEO of Millerbernd Lighting. "We look forward to introducing more such environmental friendly fixtures over the coming months."
"The corrosion resistant qualities of series 316 stainless steel combined with the unique features of an LED platform will ensure a long fixture life," stated Mitch Gaida, Millerbernd Lighting’s national sales director. "The WL-18’s already rated for wet locations offers a low maintenance alternative and reduced operation costs."
This newest generation of the WL-18 Stainless Steel Wall Sconce provides these additional key features and benefits:
- Energy efficient light sources
- Flexible and easy installation either facing up or down
- The option for custom laser cut graphics or logo
The Wildlife Lighting Certification Program is a cooperative effort between the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service designed to educate the public, the building industry, and government officials how to minimize adverse impacts on wildlife by using proper lighting methods and technologies. The Wildlife Lighting Certification Program identifies unique lighting fixtures, shields, and lamps such as Millerbernd’s bollards and wall sconces that are appropriate for use in areas where wildlife is affected by light pollution.
"We introduced our first certified fixture turtle-friendly light fixture back in 2011," continued Gaida. "We look forward to expanding our environmental friendly fixture line to meet the international growing demand to protect wildlife from unnecessary light pollution."
