Conexus Kicks Off United Way Fundraising Campaign

For the 10th year in a row, Conexus is partnering with Melton Truck Lines on a mega campaign to raise funds for the United Way.

This is our opportunity to give back to our community and country while sharing the success we have experienced in business.

For over a decade, Conexus’ sister company, Melton Truck Lines, has put together an annual fundraising campaign to benefit the United Way. 2013 marks Conexus’ 10th year in business and 10th year of participation and partnering with Melton Truck Lines in the campaign.

The 2013 theme is “Together, We Move the World” and fundraising events are themed around Greek mythology. Events to garner employee and spouse participation and encourage donations include raffles, Olympic-style sporting events, Greek food cook-offs and a marathon at the end of the campaign. Conexus and Melton Truck Lines employees work almost year-round to plan, prepare and execute the campaign, which spans several months and produces a significant donation to the United Way at the campaign’s completion.

“This is our opportunity to give back to our community and country while sharing the success we have experienced in business,” said Kyle Gholston, Vice President of Conexus. “We are very proud of our participation and partnership with the United Way and look forward to helping them meet and exceed their fundraising goals again in 2013.”

The company has been in business since 2003.
