Fans who sign up for the BMW Championship Priority Ticket Program will be given the opportunity to purchase tickets up to 48 hours before a limited number of tickets go on sale to the general public in late August..
Those interested in joining the Priority Ticket Program may register online at http://www.BMWChampionshipUSA.com. No advanced purchase is required.
The BMW Championship will be the first time the PGA TOUR’s FedExCup Playoffs is contested in the Rocky Mountain region. Tournament organizers have established the Priority Ticket Program to provide golf enthusiasts with an exceptional experience for this unique, limited ticket event.
“Everyone who attends the 2014 BMW Championship will have an up-close-and-personal spectator experience unlike any other,” said WGA Vice President of Tournaments, Vince Pellegrino, citing the traditional intimacy of the 1922 William Flynn course design. “Golf fans who sign up for the Priority Ticket Program will have peace-of-mind, knowing they will be the first to be able to purchase their tickets.”
Daily ticket prices will range from $25 for practice rounds to $300 for an upgraded weekly ticket package that includes access to an upscale hospitality pavilion complete with air-conditioning and upgraded food and beverage service. All proceeds from the BMW Championship benefit the Evans Scholars Foundation.
Colorado energy entrepreneur, philanthropist and Evans Scholar Alumnus George Solich is the 2014 BMW Championship General Chairman. He was instrumental in the selection of Cherry Hills Country Club as the host club.
“Serving as the General Chairman of the 2014 BMW Championship is an honor and a privilege, and as a former caddie and Evans Scholar recipient, I could not be more pleased to see the BMW Championship coming to Cherry Hills,” said Solich. “Since its founding in 1922, Cherry Hills has served as a time-tested venue for many of golf’s finest championships and we are thrilled to have the top 70 players in the world here for the 2014 BMW Championship. Our effort is focused on staging a top-quality event for golf fans, players, volunteers, our sponsor - BMW, and the many corporate hospitality participants. To ensure this quality experience, tickets to this tournament will be limited. Colorado and the Denver region are steeped in golf tradition, and will provide for an outstanding host of this international event.”
