Can I curbside you
(PRWEB) July 31, 2013
Lisa A Zdinak, cosmetic surgeon and medical director of Precision Aesthetics, has always attracted celebrities, models and actors as well as the media, by giving away the best information and explaining it in easy to understand terms. She has taken it to a whole new level with “Curbside Consults”, video consults to help patients understand complex procedures and make informed choices.
Curbside Consults got its name from the busy hallways in hospitals where a doctor might pass a specialist whose input was needed for a specific case. The Doctor, wanting a moment of the specialist’s time, would say, “ Can I curbside you?” And they would literally pull aside out of the busy flow of the hallway to discuss the case. Dr Zdinak has prepared video consults on Stretch marks, Mesotherapy, Cellulite, Thermage, Carboxytherapy, Silkpeel and a few others. The videos range from approximately five to ten minutes. Although not interactive, hearing the doctor explain in her style comprising of the actual technology explained in layman’s terms with analogies making it understandable by anyone has been a real winner. And in fact is exactly ten minutes of what a patient would be hearing if they were paying upwards of $500 for an actual consult. Dr Zdinak made the videos for her patients since much time is spent explaining the same procedures over and over again. Obviously a consult is much more than that, and is more about what procedures would have the greatest benefit in addressing individuals specific concerns and what results a patient might expect. Actually great Doctors ask patients what concerns them, and address that, not try to foist procedures upon them for what the Doctor perceives.
Although it seems that you cant get any information today without signing up for a sequence of emails. Dr Zdinak decided to give the consults away without requiring any information, because truly the best in every endeavor happily educate knowing that patients and customers alike will beat a path to the door of those that have so much knowledge and experience that they happily share it. Recognizing her unique ability to explain complex subjects in simple terms two local TV stations asked Dr Zdinak to explain the hottest new trend in Hollywood, PRP or what is commonly called Dracula or dermal fillers, utilizing your own stem cells vs. fillers. They each spent a whole day filming and the result was a concise 2 minute video on PRP explaining and demonstrating the procedure.
Dr Zdinak attends to her international clientele at 10 West 74th st at Central Park West where some travel more than 10,000 miles to seek her expertise. In addition to the procedures described by video, other non-invasive offerings include acoustic wave therapy for fat reduction and cellulite, exilis non-surgical fat reduction, illumiwave lipocontour 635 for “fat leaking” and others.
