Palmetto Park Realty, a new South Carolina real estate company, has opened its first office and announced new hires in downtown Greenville this week. With competitive real estate offices on nearly every corner in town, Palmetto Park aims to carve out a specific market segment and differentiate its services from other realty companies by working with Internet buyers exclusively. Though the Company plans to list properties in the near future, for now it caters to a list of nearly 25,000 active real estate buyers from across the nation who are looking to move to the Greenville metro area and surrounding areas in the state.

Drew Nichols, president of Palmetto Park Realty, serves as Broker-in-Charge. Bringing a decade of specialized programming and application design experience as well as real estate experience to the table, he approaches the traditional real estate business from a high-tech angle. While many companies claim to be high-tech, Palmetto Park is one of the only companies with a customized Website built in South Carolina that caters to the unique Greenville real estate market. Palmetto Park’s principal Website in Greenville is branded as OurGreenville.com and has been serving the Upstate since 2006.

Palmetto Park Announces Relocation Coordinator

South Carolina is quickly becoming a premiere retirement destination on par with traditional sun belt locations such as Florida and Arizona. Recent publicity from Forbes, who named Downtown Greenville a “top 10 transformed neighborhood” and publicity from famed economist Ben Stein, who spun such a positive review of the town have created a national spotlight on Greenville.
Given all this national attention, the firm is pleased to announce Candice Herring as its Relocation Coordinator. Herring, who has lived in the Greenville area for 27 years, specializes in assisting out-of-town customers who hope to relocate to the Upstate. She is in a unique position to help remote buyers in their discovery process of the area.

Palmetto Park Realty’s downtown office is located in the Office Centers building at 330 E. Coffee Street, which is at the corner of Church Street and just three blocks off of Greenville’s famous Main Street. The firm will work initially with a team of five state-licensed agents, with new hires expected in the fall as the firm grows and expands geographically. Additional offices are planned for Seneca/Lake Keowee and Myrtle Beach/Pawley’s Island in early 2014 as the firm expands its footprint to include South Carolina’s most highly-regarded waterfront properties.
