The National Association of Mortgage Field Services (NAMFS), the premier trade association for the mortgage field service industry, recently hosted their sixth annual Leadership Summit. This year’s event was held on July 31, 2013 at the Dallas/Ft.Worth Airport Marriot. It allowed participation in several new solution focused initiatives offered by the Association. Our attendees included ~35 National and Regional Field Service Companies specializing in all aspects of the industry from Inspections through disposition.

The NAMFS Leadership Summit was attended by the NAMFS Board, Committee Chairs, Leadership Nominees and Board-Invited companies. The companies represented national and regional field service companies, along with a mortgage servicer and technology providers for the industry. Topics covered were more strategic in nature as the Board looked to validate and obtain feedback on current and future initiatives. The dynamic discussion throughout the day led to the identification of several potential solutions to challenges within the industry most centering around Background Checks and an Independent Industry Data Integration solution. NAMFS continues to focus on providing industry-wide solutions and opportunities.

The event was sponsored by Miles Preservation, Quest Preservation, Safeguard Properties and Rowe Enterprises.
