New app by Wolfman Software Services allows iOS users to easily stitch together separate video clips into one seamless video.

The Video Stitcher™ application for iOS devices has just launched on the Apple App store. This new app, developed by Wolfman Software Services, allows iOS users to merge video clips taken with their iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch into a single, seamless video.

Video Stitcher™ is a simple-to-use app that stitches together video clips within the device's Camera Roll in seconds, without having to modify the videos, add audio overlays, etc. The app intentionally does not have a lot of unneeded features, as it's designed to be a quick and easy video-processing app for novices and nonprofessional users. It's ideal for creating a single video of an entire event at which multiple, shorter video clips have been taken.

Video Stitcher™ displays in a scrollable table thumbnail images of all of the video clips already in the user’s Camera Roll, along with stats for each video clip such as duration, file size, date/time taken, quality and orientation. The video clips can also be played directly in the app.

The app allows the user to select only the video clips he/she wants stitched together. Video Stitcher™ automatically stitches the clips in chronological order; however, the user can opt to stitch them in any order. Additionally, an optional feature allows for an “Intro” clip to be recorded that can be placed at the beginning of the stitched video.

By default, Video Stitcher™ stitches the clips and retains the original quality (1080p on recent devices). To save space on the device, the app also provides the option of reducing the quality to 720p, or standard definition.

Video Stitcher™ takes full advantage of iOS's multitasking and background-processing capabilities; e.g., the user can start a stitching operation, then put the app into the background and do other tasks. The app notifies the user when the stitching operation is complete.

Another special feature of the app gives the user the option of adding transition effects between video clips. The user can choose between a fade effect or a push effect; and the duration of the effect is settable from 0-4 seconds.

Video Stitcher™ has a built-in help manual, remembers user settings, and has email links for reporting problems or providing feedback. There is also a website with helpful information and email links: http://www.VideoStitcher.com.

Video Stitcher™ is available on the Apple App Store for 99 cents. Audio and video demonstrations are available at http://www.VideoStitcher.com and https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/video-stitcher/id652585078. For additional details about Video Stitcher™, please visit http://www.videostitcher.com.
