Cutting-Edge Innovator to Lead Cross-Functional Team

CMI/Compas is pleased to announce that Alya Sherman has been promoted to SVP, Alliance Management. Sherman brings deep experience in management and in leading CMI’s Partner Innovation efforts, uncovering and building alliances with many of the industry's new and most innovative suppliers.

Sherman will chair the CMI/Compas Alliance Management Group, a cross-functional team that consists of members of the media teams, leadership of Customer Insights and Healthcare Clinical Content Services, and the Supplier Partner team, to accomplish the organization’s goals around getting the most from our suppliers for our clients and to be our suppliers’ best clients. In this new role, she will also be responsible for developing and growing alliances that remove the gaps and silos of past operating models to create year-on-year value, productivity and results that lead to breakthrough deliverables and recommendations for our suppliers and clients. She will continue to strive for a new level of supplier partnering never before realized.

In addition to Sherman’s promotion, Nicole Woodland-De Van, SVP Buying Services, is now the lead executive on the Alliance Management team overseeing Sherman.

The Alliance Management team’s charter remains to work more efficiently with each of our extraordinary partners to best identify opportunities through them as well as how to maximize and grow their business in the future through the direct contributions across CMI/Compas.
