The Fosters' David Lambert Talks About the Issues the New ABC Family Show Tackles and How He Relates to His Character in an Interview on AfterBuzz TV
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) August 01, 2013 -- ABC Family's David Lambert made an appearance on AfterBuzz TV's The Fosters aftershow Monday night. In his appearance, Lambert talks about the issues the new ABC Family show tackles and how he relates to his character.
On what is it like on set of The Fosters:
David Lambert says, "Everyone is so fun on set. It's always a good time. We're playing music in the makeup trailers. We're having a lot of fun, because usually we have to do some heavy stuff here and there. We kind of try to keep it light for each other so we don't go too crazy.”
If seasoned actors such as Terri Polo have been helpful for improving his techniques:
Lambert says, "Teri [Polo] has a distinct way of bringing out a lot in me. Sometimes when the camera's not on her she'll go off on a rant, depending on what the scene is. If it's like a fight, like what we've seen in episode 3, she'll be yelling off at camera at me...Just getting all these fresh things from me that weren’t necessarily in the scene. And it's an amazing thing to see.”
On if he relates to Brandon:
Lambert says, “[Brandon] is in a lot of ways, the magnified version of me, which is an interesting thing to sort of play. He's becoming a very special character to me just because I don't have to do as much character research into something specific. I don't have to go to great depths within myself to sort of find this character because he is an extension of myself in a more peculiar situation. I'm the oldest in my family and do play piano. I'm not as good as Brandon, he's more classically trained.”
