Krishagni, leader in providing commercial support for caTissue, has now taken caTissue to the next level with its caTissue Plus initiative. "At Krishagni, we are working closely with our clients like Washington University, University of New South Wales, University of Leicester, Johns Hopkins University, Singapore General Health, Thomas Jefferson University, University of Missouri, and so forth to enhance caTissue with new features, faster page loads, and user interface improvements," said Srikanth Adiga, CEO Krishagni Solutions.
This latest release contains major performance enhancements in the Advanced Query module wherein every query is guaranteed to complete in 5 seconds and at most 10 seconds. The User Interface of the Advanced Query module is also vastly improved to make it simple and user friendly. You can now organize your Queries in Folders and share the Folders with other users. In collaboration with University of New South Wales, Krishagni has also developed a HL7 based plugin for Aperio’s Imaging system. With this plugin any institute can integrate image based metadata of biospecimens, and link caTissue with the image repository to quickly view the images. Apart from the above two, there are many other bug fixes and improvements which will simplify the usage of caTissue. Please click here for what's new in caTissue Plus v3.0.
Srikanth Adiga, CEO of Krishagni Solutions, said, “This release is in continuation of our efforts to make caTissue a truly world class open source biobanking software. Our goal is to make caTissue a truly world class, free, open source biobanking LIMS solution. Our crowd sourcing model makes this an unique effort wherein multiple caTissue adopters pool in resources and funds to enhance caTissue to the benefit of the whole community. This has been a fascinating journey so far, and we are as excited as ever as we start working on caTissue Plus v4.0. ”
Krishagni’s caTissue team has now started working on the caTissue Plus v4.0. Among other things, this version will expose REST based APIs for the biospecimen operations. This is a giant leap in the technical architecture of caTissue and will greatly enhance the usability of the caTissue API as well as system performance, durability, scalability, and ease of customization. The goal of v4.0 is to make sure that every biospecimen action is completed within 3-5 seconds.
