Summer 2014 Love in Motion Campaign Underway at MyFundPartner
Ontario CA (PRWEB) August 06, 2013 -- http://www.MyFundPartner.com today announced a new Personal Quest fundraiser supporting the 2014 Love in Motion coast-to-coast bicycle tour. The tour will raise awareness and funding for outreach initiatives and families in need in inner cities across Canada.
MyFundPartner’s Personal Quest software allows organizations to manage events and online fundraisers—from recruiting and organizing volunteers and team members to raising money or selling tickets—all from a personalized web portal.
From July 1-August 30 2014, bicycle and motorcycle riders across Canada will come together to raise awareness and much-needed funding for outreach initiatives in cities across the country. Participants may either bicycle or join a motorcycle tour in one of the six Alliance regions. There are a total of 50 ride segments for 2014 including ocean side tours along the Atlantic or Pacific, pastoral mid-western routes and back road legs through Canadian Shield country.
For the most recent Love in Motion ride, $400,000 was raised to feed and house families and provide education, refuge and security to people who are looking for answers, healing and hope.
Gerald Horner, who will ride his bicycle from Northern Ontario to Montreal, Quebec in the 2014 ride, has initiated a Personal Quest on My Fund Partner .com. His goal is to raise $6,000 for the organization on behalf of the Alliance Churches, a group of more than 430 local churches in Canada dedicated to global missionary work.
“Love in Motion is a straightforward, physically rewarding way to connect us with others and help the larger community,” said Horner. “I grew up in the inner city and have always been passionate about giving back. Having opportunities can give advantages and new possibilities for families and individuals who without them could not meet their full potential. In today's world there is no reason why this cannot be done.”
Anthony Pasto, president of MyFundPartner urges anyone interested in participating in the 2014 Love in Motion campaign to sign up for a Personal Quest to get the most out of their effort and reach the most people.
“A Personal Quest fundraising campaign lets you maximize fundraising online by accepting pledges from others who care about the same issues you do. It also gives you the ability to easily broadcast your cause to friends, families and social networks,” Pasto said.

About Love in Motion:
Alliance churches across Canada have already shown they care about the unique needs of the inner cities of this country. The Ride was designed to help you put hands and feet to that concern. To give you a clear path to help those who are most vulnerable in our society. It’s a also a straightforward, physically rewarding way to connect us with one another.
Participants may either bicycle or join one of our motorcycle tours in one of the six Alliance regions. We handle all of the logistics, you just decide which leg of the Ride (there are 50 in all) you want to participate in -- from ocean side tours along the Atlantic or Pacific, to pastoral mid-western routes and back-road legs through Canadian Shield country -- and take pledges from those who care about the same issues you do.
Right now, the more than $400,000 raised by the last Ride is feeding and housing families, and providing education, refuge and security to people who are looking for answers, healing and hope. In 2014, team up with other Alliance men and women who want to put fuel on that fire. Unified we Ride.
