The Dessertist Performs Truffles and Cremes For 3 Nights Only
Denver, CO (PRWEB) August 01, 2013 -- Teatulia Organic Teas and acclaimed Denver chef and molecular gastronomist, Ian Kleinman, will present “The Dessertist Performs Truffles and Crèmes” on Thursday, August 22, 2013 to Saturday, August 24, 2013 from 5-10pm at the Tea Bar by Teatulia at 2900 Zuni Street, Denver.
Kleinman, who is also part of the Denver FIVE and was recently crowned Top of the Town by 5280 Magazine for his desserts, believes every dining experience should have amazing food, drinks and service but should also contain an entertainment quality that makes you think about your food instead of just eating it. For “The Dessertist Performs Truffles and Cremes,” he has designed after-dinner masterpieces, highlighting his famous liquid nitrogen truffles. Using liquid nitrogen to make truffles allows the chocolate to cool at a much more rapid rate. Dessert lovers will get the chance to see how a traditionally laborious treat can be made in a matter of minutes while experiencing Teatulia Tea as an unexpected and delightful ingredient.
“This event will showcase the fun, new food experiences I’ve created in Denver that's also about entertainment,” explains the acting Dessertist, Kleinman. “Anything I can possibly dream up is now doable because I'm able to really play around with different foods and mediums.”
Additional menu highlights of “The Dessertist Performs Truffles and Cremes” include:
Liquid Nitrogen Truffles: Key Lime, Novo Espresso, Teatulia Green Tea, S’mores, Curry-Ginger Salt
Ice Cream/Sorbet: Teatulia White Tea Sorbet, Coconut Sorbet, Hot Fudge Ice Cream, Blueberry Pie Ice Cream with Strawberries and Cream, Peanut Butter Pop Rocks, and Exploding Whip Cream toppings
Snacks: Black Tea Space Foam, Chile Relleno Liquid Nitrogen Popcorn, Yogurt Meringue Sticks, Fresh Fruit K-bob with Salted Chocolate
“We are thrilled about the unique dessert combinations that will be featured during this event,” says Tea Bar manager, Travis Frey. “It brings the world of tea and dessert together in a way that will delight everyone.”
The one-time only, 3-day event will fuse the unique, entertaining style of The Inventing Room with Teatulia’s quality teas. The event is free to attend, and dessert options range from $2-$4. There will also be live music and the opportunity to enjoy a tea soda exclusive to Tea Bar or a cup of Pablo’s Coffee.
