911Tracker Announces Revolutionary Vehicle Security Tracking to Protect Vehicles; Establishes Leadership with Patented 3-Party Calling for Vehicle Emergencies
San Jose, CA (PRWEB) August 01, 2013 -- 911Tracker Inc., a technology leader in vehicle security tracking devices, today announced its third-generation T3 Tracker with immediate but limited availability in the San Francisco Bay Area on their website (http://www.911tracker.com). The T3 allows vehicle owners to track their vehicle remotely using text messaging between the tracker device installed in the owner’s vehicle and their personal cell phone. The T3 device sends a text message to the owner’s smartphone if the car alarm is triggered or the vehicle is being towed. The owner can assess the situation by viewing the vehicle location on their smartphone using Google maps or using latitude/longitude, speed and heading in the text message. If an emergency is occurring, the owner calls the T3 and presses the # key to have the T3 call the 911 Call Center closest to the vehicle. Using 911Tracker’s patented 3-party calling technology the owner can explain the emergency to the police.
In non-emergency situations, the vehicle owner can also send a text message to the vehicle to determine the whereabouts of their teenage drivers, spouse, or to find the vehicle in a parking lot. Communication with the vehicle is protected by a user selected 5-digit PIN thereby ensuring the vehicle owner’s privacy. No specialized police registration or police vehicle equipment is needed for the T3 to function properly.
Calvin Kaltsukis, CEO of 911Tracker Inc. says, “Our remote 911 conference calling method allows speedy stolen vehicle tracking and recovery by the police anywhere in the United States. The T3 uses current call routing and location technology built into the E-911 Emergency call systems used by over 6000 separate PSAP (Public Safety Answering Point) jurisdictions. The E-911 automatic call routing and location determination features enabled by our T3 product can increase the capture rate of vehicle thieves and will potentially save insurance companies large sums of money by retrieving the vehicle before it gets to the chop-shop.”
Chuck Roedel, President of 911Tracker Inc. reports that “California 911 Call Centers have tested the T3 and were impressed with the ability to pinpoint the location accurately, effectively helping the responders get to the emergency quickly.“
