Trudeau accepted on behalf of the project, which implemented an FIPS 140-2 certified centrally managed encryption solution to all endpoint devices and their USB ports in order to protect against the loss of confidential information in the event of a lost or stolen device. Trudeau was also invited by judges to speak during the ISE® West Executive Forum regarding this project and his efforts to gain support and approval from key stakeholders in order to implement vital security initiatives.
“Although endpoint security is becoming common practice, our judges selected this project due to its significant scope and the extreme complexity of Sutter Health’s business environment,” said Marci McCarthy, CEO and president, T.E.N.
