Orange County Teen Introduces Unique Rock Sound to Our Pop Culture
(PRWEB) August 04, 2013 -- Her music can be described as 80s Rock & Roll with a modern twist. With her 16th birthday just last week, and her performance resume longer than most executive LinkedIn profiles, it’s hard to imagine that Moxy is just beginning the uphill climb. This teen has more drive, talent, and ambition than many adults, and she will not stop until she has reached the top. With the support of her local community, Moxy has found her calling and has dedicated her life to writing, performing, and sharing her gift with charitable organizations, her church, and those who have an appreciation for Rock Music.
Moxy Anne is a typical southern California teen from Costa Mesa, however her unique tone, range, and stage presence set her apart from the Orange Country entertainment community. With experience singing with national choral groups, popular Christian Reggae bands, and background for artists such as Jackie Evancho, there is variety and substance to her performance. Moxy attracts all types of audiences, and her live instrumental and Rock genre seems to connect on a different level with all generations.
This emerging artist is currently working with DNT Entertainment, and has collaborated with her father and lyricist Greg Mohr and the Assassination writing / production team to put together her very first original 6 song EP. The Assassination writing team consists of two of Orange County’s biggest upcoming music producers Daniel Martin and Corey Bush. Martin and Bush are co- owners of ReAmp Recording Studios in Anaheim, California, and are the newest addition to Perfect Storm Music Group’s writing team. PSMG is headed by former head of Warner Chapel UK, Robin Godfrey Cass, and Jorgen Elofsson, and their team received a Grammy this year for Kelly Clarkson’s “Stronger.” In October of 2013, Moxy will begin shopping her final product to national record labels in search of distribution and a team that believes in touching the next generation with a unique rock sound.
The art of juggling recording sessions, photo shoots, live performances, and school has taken some getting used to, but her love for music and sharing her gift with her fans have made the entertainment lifestyle easier to adjust to.
“Music is my first love. It is my passion, I put my heart into everything I do and the most into what I love. Music hits the top of that chart, and I couldn't imagine life without it. I only hope I can continue my entire life doing what makes both myself and others happiest.”- Moxy Anne
With the official release of her first EP only a few months away, it won’t be long before you see this name making a steady climb on to the charts.
Moxy has a full summer performance schedule which will be released on her social networking sites in the upcoming weeks.
