Looking for a way to spark that passion for imagination from childhood? Rebecca Massey brings the joy of new friendships and the excitement of discovery to life in her series of children’s books, Colton’s Pocket Dragon.

In Book 1: Dragon Land, Massey creates a world of adventure, friendship and fun that inspires imagination. The book follows ten-year-old Colton and his newly hatched dragon friend, Kolta, as they search for his home and meet many strange and endearing creatures.

In this ongoing series, Colton and Kolta explore different, faraway lands, help other creatures, like Iggy the Bigfoot, and learn about courage, innovation and friendship. In book 1 alone, readers ride along with the duo through narrow escapes from gigantic birds and hybrid monsters, family reunions with Kolta’s family and new friendships.

“Imagination is so important at all stages of life,” said Massey. “My book may be a children’s story, but the messages of creativity and adventure are not restricted to an age.”

Complete with a dedication page for the reader to personalize and a special poem, Colton’s Pocket Dragon would be an exciting, creative and unique addition to any child’s reading list.
