NetCo Investments, Inc., a real estate investment and development company with offices in Plano, TX and Newport Beach, CA, is pleased to announce its acquisition of the Caprock Shopping Center in Lubbock, TX.

The property is comprised of approximately 259,000 sq ft on 19 acres. The shopping center includes prominent tenants such as Ross Dress for Less, Beall’s, and Dollar Tree.

Caprock Shopping Center is situated at 50th street and Boston Ave, just three miles from Texas Tech University, and is adjacent to a Home Depot. Retailers in the immediate area include a Market Street, Planet Fitness, Sutherland’s, and Walgreens.

Caprock Shopping Center, built in 1959, is one of the oldest centers in Lubbock and a source of nostalgia for many long-time residents. NetCo Investments plans to renovate the center, as well as simultaneously leasing up the vacancies within the property. Different conceptual plans are being discussed and the final one will be predicated based on tenant interest and leasing activity.
