ORLANDO, Fla. (PRWEB) August 01, 2013 -- Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc., a provider of innovative, technology-enabled claims and productivity management solutions, will create up to 225 new jobs over the next three years. The Memphis-based company will open a 30,000-square-foot call center in Orlando and make a $1.29 million capital investment in Orange County, Fla.
“Orlando is a leader in the business services industry, so we were confident we would be able to find talented colleagues with the right skill sets in this area. Our decision to locate here was fairly easy,” said Charles Cooper, senior vice president, service center operations, Sedgwick.
“We are proud that Sedgwick has decided to expand their operations in the Orlando region,” said Rick Weddle, president and CEO of the Metro Orlando EDC. “Since they have another facility located in Lake Mary, they were already familiar with the talented workforce and educational assets in the region.”
The Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission (EDC) provided the company with community and incentive information, employer reviews and local contacts for labor and training and contact center associations.
The new facility will be located in east Orlando.
