Student Organization Hosts Golf Tournament to Raise Funds and Awareness for Breast Cancer

Zeta Tau Alpha encourages community members to donate, play golf in Crown Classic tournament. Funds raised will benefit breast cancer education and awareness programs.

ST. LOUIS (PRWEB) August 02, 2013

Zeta Tau Alpha, a women’s fraternity at Saint Louis University is hosting its second annual Crown Classic Golf Tournament on Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Norman K. Probstein Community Golf Course in Forest Park. All proceeds from the event benefit breast cancer awareness and education programs.

The 4-Man scramble shotgun start is at 7:30 a.m. The tournament consists of 18 holes, lunch at 12:30, and the presentation of the winners.

An individual player sponsor registration fee is $95, including the green fee and range balls. Premium sponsorships are also available. The Hope Sponsorship for $500 includes three players. The Courage Sponsorship for $350 includes two players. The Strength Sponsorship for $200 includes one player. All player and premium sponsorships include a team cart. Premium sponsorships also include special recognition on an event banner, event signage and the event T-shirt.

Zeta Tau Alpha was founded in 1898 at the State Female Normal School (now Longwood University) in Farmville, Va., and has more than 225,000 members worldwide. One of the nation’s largest Greek women’s groups, ZTA develops members’ leadership, academic and service skills, and supports breast cancer education and awareness. Our Kappa Omega chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha was established in 2007 at Saint Louis University.
