The award recognized a new feature release for Hypersign called Snips. Snips works with popular photo sharing sites like Picasa and Flickr to automatically post photo slideshows to Hypersigns no matter where they are located. For example, imagine a customer is managing a live event, like a festival, and they have either a smart phone with the app for one of the photo services or a smart DSLR. They can take a photo and within a matter of 30 seconds, the photo has been integrated into a slideshow and posted to a designated Hypersign drop zone (content area) automatically within the Hypersign, no matter where the Hypersign is located. No login is necessary for the process, just point...shoot and Hypersign does the rest. Gary Kayye, founder of rAVe Publications states "HYPERSIGN impressed me at InfoComm with their user simplicity and complete suite of products. Snips is a great example of adding a feature without over-engineering the implementation of the system." AVIONEX Software's CEO Neil Willis stated "We are very excited about the Infocomm award and we love creating new features within our software that our customers love. We are very grateful and blessed to be part of an industry that strives for excellence and recognizes the efforts of it's members."
