Ryan Hagler didn't think he would win anything when he attended a recent Storm Arena Football game. Amalie Motor Oil, proud sponsor and partner of the Tampa Bay Storm, gave fans a unique opportunity to win an authentic Tampa Bay Storm Helmet, autographed by the team. On a whim, he signed up and was definitely proved wrong.

“Our winner, Ryan, was surprised to win the contest,” said Denny Madden, Amalie Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing. “And he couldn’t wait to meet some of the players and have Derrick Brooks give him the prize!”

Ryan Hagler, the grand prize winner, was presented with the signed helmet by Storm President Derrick Brooks, during a special ceremony yesterday, Wednesday, July 30, 11:00 a.m. at the Tampa Bay Times Forum. Ryan mingled with the Storm players and had an up close sideline view of the Storm‘s practice.

Derrick Brooks, Tampa Bay Storm President and former Tampa Bay Buccaneers star linebacker, commented on the contest. “It’s always great for fans such as Ryan to enjoy moments like this. We’re thrilled Amalie sees the value in these types of events. As a long-term Storm partner, Amalie always delivers above and beyond expectations.”

Amalie Motor Oil is a vibrant member of the Tampa Port community, and extends its reach deep into the community. They’ve been a proud sponsor of the Tampa Bay Storm since 2011 and own the naming rights to the field – Amalie Motor Oil Field.
