Career advancement is currently the top issue impacting job satisfaction, according to international recruiting firm 24 Seven’s fourth annual Salary and Job Market Report.

So how does one keep their skill set current and advance their career? A recent online poll conducted by 24 Seven revealed that 93% of respondents consider career pathing to be the individual’s responsibility, rather than the responsibility of the employer.
