The partnership is a reflection of the natural synergies between Intelex and Enhesa.
Toronto (PRWEB) August 12, 2013
Intelex, a leading provider of Environmental Health and Safety and Quality (EHSQ) management software and Enhesa, a provider of global EHS regulatory compliance information for enterprises, announced today that they have formed a strategic partnership. The partnership will allow data to be integrated from Enhesa’s regulatory database into Intelex’s application, creating a one stop shop where organizations can record, track and report on their environmental, health and safety performance while associating it with the detailed regulatory requirements that are mandated for their jurisdiction(s).
“The partnership is a reflection of the natural synergies between Intelex and Enhesa – Intelex helps their clients manage all of their EHS data, activities and documents and Enhesa has the regulatory information that drives many of the EHS requirements that those clients are managing. Embedding subject matter expertise and EHSQ content directly into Intelex applications streamlines the EHSQ management process. It’s a natural fit.” said Elie Mouzon, Vice President of EHSQ Solutions for Intelex.
The increasing complexity of EHSQ regulations has created a critical need for more sophisticated tools to assist businesses with meeting these requirements. Over the last 4 years the volume of environment, health and safety regulations has increased 35 percent around the world, while major global enforcement activity doubled and EHS legislation in Africa and the Middle East increased by 300 percent. According to Enhesa’s database, approximately 500 additional EHS regulations were adopted in 2012 compared to 2009.
The partnership between Intelex and Enhesa addresses this issue by seamlessly integrating Enhesa’s information on current laws, regulations and standards into Intelex’s central database so regulatory requirements applicable to a company, a country or a facility within this company are always current and up to date. Enhesa provides regulatory content for most countries in the world, which caters to Intelex’s international user base.
“We are extremely excited to be able to offer Intelex’s customers the ability to easily access the detailed information they need, regarding new regulations and policies, from directly within the Intelex system,” said Thierry Dumortier, Managing Director for Enhesa.
Mouzon, added, “Having information from the Enhesa regulatory database readily available from within Intelex is part of our ongoing commitment to continuously expand and improve the services we offer our customers through our products. We know managing EHS information can be complicated and cumbersome, this new functionality will help make that easier.”
