EXTON, PA (PRWEB) August 03, 2013
Maetrics, LLC, one of the leading consulting firms for compliance and quality in the life science industry, has opened a new office in Exton, PA to serve new clients on the East Coast. This expansion is a direct result of the company’s third straight year of industry-leading double-digit growth.
Pennsylvania’s mix of pharmaceutical giants, biotech firms, academic research facilities, teaching hospitals and other life sciences firms is what drew Maetrics to the area. “Our new office in West Whiteland is in the heart of a booming biotechnology and medical device cluster in southeastern Pennsylvania,” explained newly appointed Maetrics President, Mark B. Hassenplug. “This area fits perfectly with our growing list of clients, and our interests in R&D and manufacturing.”
Maetrics provides Fortune 500 and mid-size pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device manufacturing enterprises with consulting, compliance, and management services designed to help them be more effective competing in an environment of increased drug demand, price pressure from government healthcare changes, the need to decrease the time-to-market for new drugs, increasing post market surveillance, increasing financial constraints, and management of regulatory compliance costs.
“This is an extremely exciting time at Maetrics,” added George Huntley, CFO of Maetrics. “We are very excited to join the Chester County community, and provide quality and compliance services to area firms.”
Maetrics was founded in 1984 in Indianapolis, where the corporate headquarters remain located. Since then, Maetrics has been providing compliance and quality services to companies spanning the entire life sciences industry – including markets such as Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Nutritional, and other FDA-regulated industries. The company coordinates one of the largest pools of life sciences experts, and provides the skills, guidance and resources needed to keep their growing client base compliant with regulations and to keep their products safe.
