Beauty Schools of America Helps Children in Need
Miami, FL (PRWEB) August 02, 2013 -- Beauty Schools of America (BSA) is set to sponsor “Back to School Fun Day.” This event, hosted by Commissioner Aubrey M. Edmonson, helps underprivileged children prepare themselves for the upcoming school year. BSA will provide children free haircuts, complimentary polish changes and donations in order to give them a great start to the new school year.
“Last year over 2,400 children received book bags full of school supplies and so much more back to school assistance,” said BSA Director of Operations Jeff Gonzales. “BSA cares about our community and we welcome any opportunity to help.”
This event’s success depends on the generosity of the event organizers, as well as the community and sponsors. This spirit of giving extends to school supplies, food, drinks and most importantly time. If you would like to be involved, please reach out to Liz Gonzalez at Info(at)BSA(dot)edu.
This year’s “Fun Day” will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2013 from 10am – 2 pm, at Olinda Park, 2102 NW 51st St. Miami, FL 33142.
