The more standard approaches to fixed income investments have historically stemmed from products such as money markets, bonds and CD’s. Although viewed as fairly safe investments that genuinely offer anemic returns, times are rapidly changing with respect as to which investment produces the greatest return rate. Mike Eckerman, CEO of NDF Capital Holdings highlights the avenues of how investing in real estate private placements can improve the rate of return on the savvy investor’s portfolio, enabling them to earn between 6 and 11%. “We formed NDF Capital Holdings with the purpose of offering those savvy investors who qualify, a secure opportunity to get substantially higher passive returns than traditional fixed income products. Typically, those more traditional fixed income products offer lower returns. Currently, the highest rates of returns on those traditional investment products are between 3 and 5%. Our service revolves around establishing portfolios with higher, more sustainable and more consistent rates of return with income producing residential real estate” says Eckerman.

Eckerman adds that their focus is primarily on markets with high, sustainable appreciation, such as Las Vegas and Southern California. According to a recent Bloomberg article, Las Vegas had the second highest sustained increase of 23% compared to one year ago. Overall, the nation is at its highest level since 2006. “We started NDF Capital Holdings to take advantage of those growing markets by acquiring properties for future appreciation and so far, we have not been disappointed by the progress. The more traditional products aren’t producing those types of secured results right now” Eckerman says.

Mike Eckerman and the team at NDF Capital Holdings are actively seeking out those sophisticated investors who are motivated by thinking outside of the box when it comes to choosing the right private placement investment. “With our PPM, we offer investors the ability to capitalize on those above market returns through income producing real estate in fast appreciating markets like Las Vegas and Southern California. Many investors have become frustrated with the traditional fixed income investments and simply don’t know where to turn. We are very confident with knowing we have a secure solution with our private placement opportunities for accredited investors” Eckerman says.

NDF Capital Holdings may not be the only company offering private placement investments on real estate, but according to Eckerman, they have created a unique, customizable model that competes with the large hedge fund firms like Blackstone and Colony Capital. “We have chosen to focus in on the markets that are producing consistent home price increases. It allows us to maintain a brick and mortar type of business. In addition, we take pride on having the ability to personally assist our accredited investors through the entire process” says Eckerman.
