High voltage 1980’s rock band Bon Jovi is on tour, dubbed Because We Can – The Tour. After a sold out swing through Europe, the group played major stadiums including Soldier Field, Ford Field and Metlife Stadium in July.

The trek, which is set to promote their 12th studio album, What About Now, is named after one of the new album’s singles. After a series of concerts in Mexico, Chile, Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil in September, Bon Jovi resumes their North American road trip at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada on October 2, 2013.

Concerts are then set for the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma and Spokane Arena in Spokane, Washington; Save Mart Center in Fresno, Honda Center in Anaheim and Staples Center Los Angeles, California; MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada; AT&T Center in San Antonio and American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas; Verizon Arena in North Little Rock, Arkansas; Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn.; and Air Canada Centre in Toronto.

“Sales traffic for Bon Jovi tickets is running at a very high level, partly due to the resounding success of their latest tour,” said Felina Martinez at online ticket marketplace “That’s why we’re proud to offer fans a great selection of tickets, with a worry-free guarantee to protect their purchase,” said Martinez.

“To access the complete and continuously-updated inventory of Bon Jovi tickets we now have available, customers can go to and search for Bon Jovi – then select their tickets,” said Martinez.

Formed in 1983 in New Jersey, the Bon Jovi line up consists of Jon Bon Jovi (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), David Bryan (keyboards, backing vocals), Tico Torres (drums), Hugh McDonald (bass guitar, backing vocals), Bobby Bandiera (guitar, backing vocals) and Phil X (lead guitar, substitute for Richie Sambora on leave).

The band found their greatest success with their album Slippery When Wet in 1986. The rockers had three of their biggest hits on the Billboard Number One album, including “You Give Love a Bad Name”, “Wanted Dead or Alive”, and “Livin’ on a Prayer”.

Critics applaud the band for the eclectic combination of rock, country and pop influences in their music. Bon Jovi is also known for dazzling staging and special effects, which allow the high-octane band to literally explode off the stage.

After a recent Bon Jovi concert in front of 55,000 adoring hometown fans at MetLife Stadium, one critic wrote: “The `Because We Can’ tour is all about giving the crowd an old fashioned summertime rock-and-roll party. The crowd went crazy when Jon did splits, jumping jacks, and mimicked Mick Jagger’s rooster strut during a mashup of “I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead," “Start Me Up" and “Pretty Woman."

“It’s hard to argue with any of this. First pumping, hand-clapping sing-along rock and roll is what a stadium show is all about, and Bon Jovi — now a 30-year-old band, and long past their hair-band salad days — delivers it all expertly, and without apology.” (Source: Live Review, Jim Beckerman,

Another concert-goer wrote, “A three hour, full-throttle roller coaster ride of emotions – from exuberance to nostalgia – and all of the goose bumps in-between.”

Bon Jovi has 12 studio albums and has put on more than 2,800 concerts attended by over 35 million fans in over 50 countries around the world. (Source:
