Among these partnerships is SpendMD, which through the integration with SignUp4’s Spend Management System (SMS), allows event professionals to collect meeting spend data to drive compliance and recognize measurable savings. As of this month, The Sunshine Act is requiring the collection of meeting data from manufacturers of drugs, medical devices and medical supplies covered by Medicare and Medicaid to be reported to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid services for all payments made to Health Care Providers and teaching hospitals. Clients are now prepared for secure reporting requirements based on the new legislation.

Travelport the leading provider of critical transaction processing solutions and data to companies operating in the global travel industry has partnered exclusively with SignUp4 to expand the event management technology presence in the Latin American marketplace. This alliance will allow Travelport to provide its clients with the latest emerging technology and services. SignUp4’s direct integration into Travelport’s Worldspan and Apollo GDS helps bridge the communication gap between travel professionals, meeting planners and their attendees.

Further assisting event professionals is the partnership with Concur, the global leader in integrated travel and expense management. Through SignUp4’s Spend Connect app, the direct integration of SignUp4’s Spend Management System with Concur’s Expense Management Tool will allow clients to streamline processes through automation and easily tie expenses to related meetings. By pairing actuals to specific meetings, planners can better measure and control their true total costs including employee expenses.

The unveiling of the SignUp4 Travel app is another crucial component of the latest partnerships. By partnering with Sabre Travel Network, a global technology company serving travel agencies, buyers and suppliers, the app integrates SignUp4’s Event and Travel Management Systems directly into the Sabre Red Workspace environment. SignUp4 Travel gives the booking agent real-time access to live attendee registration data for event within the Event Management System (EMS). As an attendee registers on SignUp4, the agent is notified with the app and is able to then immediately create the PNR based upon the specific travel requirements noted during registration. SignUp4 Travel will then merge the PNR info from Sabre back into the attendee registration record within the SignUp4 database, providing unprecedented reporting access for the event planner and travel manager.

Lastly, the certified integration between Newmarket International’s MeetingBroker platform and SignUp4’s Spend Management System offers meeting planners and hospitality organizations with an efficient, reliable RFP distribution process to suit the demanding needs of the industry. With certified integration, when an RFP is created and submitted from the SMS, it is routed through MeetingBroker for instantaneous notification and assignment to the correct sales representative. RFP responses are routed back through MeetingBroker into SMS for review. Bidirectional updates to the RFP are automatically sent in real-time.
