What better way to explore the scenic wonders of New Zealand than with a mobile travel guide provided by the very people you rented a vehicle from?
Auckland, New Zealand (PRWEB) August 05, 2013
Tourism Radio NZ produces White Label mobile audio travel guides that cover every region of the country across the North and South Islands. Car and motor home rental agencies like Maui, Car Rental Republic and United Campervans have all seen the benefits of rebranding the Tourism Radio app to give to their own clients as a value added service. Other travel-oriented clients like the Interislander ferries have also come on board.
Some of the features included in the latest update rollout include:
- Incremental Download System – allows users to open their travel guides before they’ve finished downloading. It also allows for content updates to be downloaded to individual travel guides without having to re-download the entire app from the iTunes Store
- Postcard and Point of Interest Sharing – allows users to share their travel memories with friends and family directly from the travel app. Users can share points of interest, or take a photo, and share it on Facebook or Twitter, as well as via Email or SMS
- Offline Capability – allows users to go completely offline once they’ve complete the initial setup of the guides. That means no more nasty surprises when the data bill arrives
Tourism Radio’s NZ Managing Director, Hayden Braddock, says they approached this most recent iPhone update from both the client and the app user perspectives, "What better way to explore the scenic wonders of New Zealand than with a mobile travel guide provided by the very people you rented a vehicle from? Our clients are looking to provide their customers with a useful mobile travel tool during their time here, and our app users are looking for a simple interface that gives them all the information they need while they move around."
