Seoul, South Korea (PRWEB) August 05, 2013
Coex Convention and Exhibition Center in Seoul is to launch the new show ‘InterBattery 2013’ as part of Energy Korea Week this fall in order to further enhance the domestic and international battery market. From October 16th - 19th 2013 an estimated 200 battery-related companies will gather in Hall B of the center for a battery expo expected to spearhead secondary cell industry development and information exchange.
Three concurrent events – the World Smart Grid Expo, Green Korea, and Renewable Energy Korea – will, together with InterBattery 2013, comprise this year’s Energy Korea Week.
Energy Korea Week is the largest event hosted by Korea's Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy and aims to act as a business platform for thousands of buyers, industry experts, and brands across the international energy market.
InterBattery 2013 exhibits and fields of interest are to include raw materials, battery equipment, electric car chargers, energy storage systems, research and development, measurement & assessment methods and more. The show will also host ‘The Battery Conference’ from October 16 - 18, which is expected to draw up to 500 international attendees. Furthermore ‘The Battery Conference’ will be held during the exhibition and main speakers will include Samsung SDI, SK Innovation, Hitachi Chem, Seoul National University and China Industrial Association of Power Sources. These seminars will provide prime networking opportunities alongside outstanding industry-related education and entertainment.
Mr. JinWook Hwang at Coex says, “By incorporating InterBattery 2013 into Energy Week Korea, we are ensuring that absolutely all aspects of the energy industry are represented under one roof. InterBattery will offer a truly unbeatable opportunity for those in the battery market to learn, share, and evolve their business in Korea.”
As the only event in Korea’s energy sector to be hosted solely by the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy, and with co-promotion alongside the Korea Battery Industry Association and Coex, InterBattery 2013 is expected to attract quality professional buyers for unbeatable business and networking opportunities.
In addition, ‘InterBattery 2013’ will host an information session at the 5th China International Battery Industry Fair on August 20, 2013 in Shanghai. Visitors to the China International Battery Industry Fair may meet staff from Interbattery to find out more about the show.
