Charlotte, NC (PRWEB) August 06, 2013
Red Classic Services (RCS) announced today it has contracted with Winston-Salem-based Woodbine to lead the transportation company’s rebranding and marketing initiatives. Woodbine is charged with developing brand strategy, customer insights, a new brand identity and activation of the brand in the market through a redesigned website, digital marketing, public relations, trade advertising and other marketing strategies and tactics.
“The transportation and logistics industry is more complex than ever, and the competition for the best customers, carrier partners, drivers and employees requires new thinking and great marketing,” said RCS President, Ron Drogan. “We were drawn to Woodbine’s brand revitalization expertise, their creative energy and their commitment to helping us win.”
David Heller, RCS Senior Director of Logistics & Business Development, added, “This new partnership, along with several other key initiatives, comprise our strategy for building the most powerful brand in the transportation space.”
“Red Classic has strong fundamentals in place-- the human resources, the physical assets, the customer relationships, their association with the Coca-Cola brand-- it’s our job to harness all of that behind a compelling brand platform and drive it through the organization and into the marketplace,” said Woodbine President and CEO, Peter Mitchell. “This is a great opportunity that is right in Woodbine’s sweet spot.”
The rollout of new brand messaging and creative elements will begin late this fall.
