Birmingham, AL (PRWEB) August 07, 2013
Beginning August 1, 2013, NaphCare will offer corrections-specific treatment at two Oklahoma Department of Corrections facilities, with a combined daily population of 2,500 inmates.
“We are excited to begin our newest partnership in the State of Oklahoma and with the Oklahoma Department of Corrections (DOC),” Rick Apollo, NaphCare’s Vice-President of Ancillary Services said. “The Department was interested in an experienced partner with corrections knowledge and a team who could handle the detailed work that is entailed in a detention environment. It is our focus to find cost-efficient ways to provide high-quality dialysis and nephrology services for our partners, and this gives us an opportunity to utilize our experience in the field and implement those cost savings for Oklahoma DOC.”
NaphCare is the nation’s leading provider of on-site correctional dialysis services and has provided nephrology services to county, state, and federal correctional facilities across the country since 1995; services include hemo-dialysis, peritoneal dialysis, inpatient management, and nephrology consultations.
